Rich and Creamy Healthy Hot Chocolate

  • 2 cups cashew milk or other milk of your choice
  • 2 tbs maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbs raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional, but super delicious!
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tbs cacao butter
  • 1 scoop collagen peptides optional


  1. Add cashew milk, maple syrup, cacao powder, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt to a pan and heat over med/low heat until hot but not boiling.

  2. Add cacao butter (and collagen if using), stir, and let melt most of the way

  3. Remove from heat. Use immersion blender to blend hot chocolate until frothy.

  4. Pour into mugs and enjoy!
