Subscription boxes are such a great way to try out new natural, cruelty-free and non-toxic skincare and makeup products.
The products are always less than retail price, and who doesn’t love to get mail??
There are a number of organic and non-toxic beauty boxes these days, but lots also come with a hefty price tag.
The Petit Vour beauty box is a great affordable subscription box that is LOADED with the best in green beauty each month.
I just recently subscribed, so I’ve received 2 boxes so far and have been very pleased with both!
Here’s the low-down on the Petit Vour beauty box, and my full review so you can decide if it’s right for you.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE PETIT VOUR BOX
I can’t resist a good deal, so the Petit Vour box had me at $18 per month! It’s a great value for an assortment of high-quality, clean beauty products.
They give a good assortment of skincare, makeup and body care products. My preference is more skincare items, and so far they have delivered that.
Once you sign up, there is a personalized profile to fill out that lets them know about your beauty preferences.
The boxes arrive nicely packaged, and include a card detailing each product. It feels like receiving a gift in the mail!
Here’s the breakdown of what I received in my first 2 boxes and what I thought.
My July 2019 Petit Vour Review
French Girl – Lait De Rose Vitamin C Polishing Wash (travel size)
This is a powder exfoliating cleanser, and I have never used a product like it before. I really like how versatile this is – it can be mixed with water, toner or cleansing oil (my fav!) to meet your skins needs. This polishing wash has super clean ingredients (which I love) and a little goes a looooong way so this small bottle will last a while. This was a win for me!
Ursa Major – Bright and Easy 3 minute flash mask (trial size)
I love Ursa Major products (their golden hour recovery cream is my current favorite night moisturizer), so was not surprised that I love this mask. It’s gel formula is cooling and soothing, and it does what it says in just a few minutes. The sample is small, but enough for 4-5 uses.
Kalos – afterhours soothing night cream (trial size)
I had never heard of Kalos skincare before, but I really like this moisturizer! It’s definitely a nourishing night cream, very moisturizing and great for nighttime. It’s lightly scented with lavender, and the ingredient list passes my scrutiny test.

Terre Mere – Smudge Proof anti-aging eye shadow base (full size)
I don’t wear eye makeup very often, so this product is not getting a ton of love from me. That said, it’s a full size tube, and a little goes a long way, and this does exactly what it should! It’s a great eye primer that is non-toxic, so totally worth it for those that wear makeup often.
Overall Impression
The July box was full of great brands and I really loved it! I’m not using the eye shadow base much, but that’s only because I almost never wear eye shadow. Everything else is in rotation and I’m loving the new products!
My August 2019 Petit Vour Review
Honua Hawaiian Skincare – Pa’akai Cleansing Cream ($12 value)
I’ve never heard of this brand before, but I really like their cleansing cream. It’s a gentle and soft cleanser with a natural floral smell. It’s made it’s way into my cleansing routine, and the sample size is very generous.
Derma E – Essential Radiance Toner ($2.50 value)
This toner really does what it says and makes my skin radiant! It’s a small bottle, but a little goes a long way and I really like this toner. I would buy this again.
Juice Beauty – Blemish Clearing Serum ($15 value)
I love almost everything from Juice Beauty, so you can’t go wrong with anything from them in a natural beauty box. This is a large sample and I like the non-oily feel of this serum.
Harvest Beauty – Lengthening Organic Mascara ($18 value)
It is SO hard to find a great, clean mascara ya’ll! Unfortunately, this wasn’t it for me. I gave this 2 tries and both times ended up with raccoon eyes. Loved the ingredient list on this (super clean) and wanted to love this, but it just didn’t work for me.
Petit Histoire – Envie Desoir fragrance sample ($5 value)
I don’t typically wear fragrance, so don’t have a use for this one. But it does smell nice, and was kind of a bonus product since this box included 5 products.
Total box value = $52.50
Overall impression
I will use 3 of the 5 products, 2 of which I will probably purchase full size of once these are gone. Plus I discovered a couple of natural beauty brands I’d never heard of. So for me this box was more than worth the $18 I spent.
Final Thoughts
Petit Vour is a great natural beauty box subscription for anyone looking to try out cruelty-free and non-toxic products. It’s a good value, has a great mix of high end and affordable brands, and includes both skincare and makeup items.

Another Clean Beauty Subscription Option
Just this month I decided to take the plunge and give The Detox Box a try. It’s a pricier box at $55 per month and includes a single high-end, luxury non-toxic brand each month. The August Box included 3 products from Josh Rosebrook, and I am really loving them. (full review coming soon!)
I’m still deciding if I’ll stick with this subscription or not, purely because of the cost. But if you’re in the market for luxury green beauty and prefer to receive full size products, definitely check out the Detox Box!
